Employment Type: Full Time & Part Time Hourly Department: Service Reports To: Service Manager Locations: Manassas, VA
General Responsibilities:
To maintain and repair emergency vehicles from the electronics, pumps, foam system, mounting equipment and other items which need repair
Performance Measurements and Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair emergency vehicles from the service center or on the road as assigned.
Maintain hourly job log to determine billable percentage.
Communicate parts required for repair or maintenance of an emergency vehicle.
Position Requirements:
Ability to think clearly, creatively and logically.
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
Ability to independently seek solutions utilizing technical manuals and other resources.
Ability to complete difficult assignments.
Ability to adapt to flexible work hours and carry a cell phone and/or computer if completing road work.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel to company work locations required.
Qualifications:
You should own your own tools to complete necessary repair items. Experience and EVT/ASE certifications preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Current Driver’s License, CDL preferred. Compensation will commensurate with experience.
